  • P0304: Cylinder 4 misfire detected
  • P0306: Cylinder 6 misfire detected
  • P0600: Problem with one of the sensors connected to your ECM. Alternatively, it may just indicate a wiring error.
  • P0700: Error with your TCM. This is a different computer than the ECM, but it can cause some similar symptoms.
  • P0606: Problem with your vehicle’s PCM. Once again, this is only somewhat related to your ECM, but a lot of the symptoms are the same.                                                                    (CHECK FAULT CODE LAST 3 FROM DIFFRENT SITE)

SOME ECU ERRORS:

A rich fuel-to-air ratio can cause your engine to misfire, while a lean ratio can cause stuttering when it periodically fails to ignite.

When the ECU isn’t adjusting the throttle properly, shifting can feel herky-jerky, as if you’re in the car with a first-time driver learning to work a stick shift.

Generally, it happens while your vehicle is idling, because the engine is running relatively slowly and doesn’t have a lot of momentum to keep it running if there’s a brief hiccup. If your car is stalling while you’re at idle, you should have it looked at before the problem gets any worse.

Purchasing a replacement is very expensive, it will require coding to the vehicle at an extra expense and will only be covered by a short one week warranty.
